Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to ensure throughput in expanding compressed data. A data compression device comprises: a segmenting unit which segments inputted plaintext data into a plurality of plaintext blocks, each of which having a prescribed plaintext block length; a compression unit which generates a payload for each of the plurality of plaintext blocks by compressing the plaintext blocks using a slide dictionary compression algorithm, generates a header which denotes the length of the payload, and generates a compression block which includes the header and the payload; and a coupling unit which generates compressed data by coupling the plurality of compression blocks which are generated from the plurality of plaintext blocks.
