Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: an MCS receiver (120) that adds different delay times to individual signals acquired by branching a target signal into a plurality of systems, and outputs sampling sequences corresponding to signals acquired by sampling the individual signals at a sampling rate less than the Nyquist rate; and an MCS encoder (130) that converts the sampling sequences to compressed data. The MCS encoder (130) is provided with: sub-FFTs (131) that convert the sampling sequences to frequency domain signals; signal processing units (132) that collectively perform phase compensation processing corresponding to sub-Nyquist zones of the individual sampling sequences, and processing for cancelling phase rotations caused by delay time differences among the individual sampling sequences; a frequency estimation unit (133) that determines sub-Nyquist zones in which the target signal has been folded, and estimates the frequency of the target signal; and an encoding unit (134) that converts, to compressed data, values representing the sub-Nyquist zones and corresponding amplitude values, and outputs the compressed data.
