Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for converting data inputted in a specific endian format into another endian format. A data conversion device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a receiving unit for receiving an address value and a length value from a master device; an operation unit, which uses a pre-stored help arrangement so as to obtain size information and order information of data corresponding to the address value, uses the size information and the order information so as to obtain data to be converted, and converting, from a first format to a second format, a storage format of the data to be converted so as to generate converted data; and a transmitting unit for transmitting the converted data to the master device. The present invention has advantages of not requiring a memory having a large storage capacity and a processor having a high processing speed even when data of various sizes are stored in a storage device.
