Abstract:
A data layering transport method, apparatus and system are provided. In the method, basic layer data and enhanced layer data obtained once media data is encoded are acquired (201); the basic layer data is sent to a terminal by means of a mobile communication network on the basis of a reliable transport protocol in a transport layer; and the enhanced layer data is sent to the terminal by means of the mobile communication network on the basis of an unreliable transport protocol in the transport layer. Since the basic layer data is transported by using a reliable transport protocol and the enhanced layer data is transported by using an unreliable transport protocol, when the burst code rate is relatively high and transport resources of the mobile communication network are insufficient, the transport of the basic layer data is ensured from the perspective of the transport layer, and the transport of the enhanced layer data is attempted as best as possible from the perspective of the transport layer without forcing transport success, thereby preventing lagging when users are watching the media data, reducing the load of the mobile communication network, and enabling the mobile communication network to provide services for more users.
