Abstract:
A data management method and device in a storage system. The method comprises: obtaining at least one piece of metadata; extracting information of root data from the metadata, and storing the information of the root data; and when detecting that a load state of a software stack within a current time period satisfies a preset light load determining condition, sending the information of the stored root data to a hard disk in the storage system.
