Abstract:
A data packet processing method and a relevant device. The data packet processing method comprises: a modem of a mobile terminal receives an internet protocol (IP) data packet from a network; determine a networking state of a data service of the mobile terminal; and the modem, if determining that the data service of the mobile terminal is not in the networking state, processes the IP data packet according to a transport protocol type of the IP data packet, wherein when determining that the data service of the mobile terminal is not in the networking state, the modem does not forward the IP data packet to an application processor of the mobile terminal. The technical solution provided by embodiments of the present invention aids in reducing the standby power consumption of a mobile terminal, thereby improving the product experience of a user.
