Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present invention are a data packet segmentation method and a related product, the method comprising: if an RLC SDU contained in a second RLC PDU is unsegmented, a first node obtaining a segment sequence number of a first RLC PDU, the first node being a layer 2 relay node, the segment sequence number being unique in the bearer of the first RLC PDU, the first RLC PDU being a segment of the second RLC PDU, the second RLC PDU being the RLC PDU received by the first node; and the first node sending the first RLC PDU containing the segment sequence number. When an L2 relay node segments an RLC PDU, using a segment sequence number unique in a bearer to provide a basis for RLC PDU reassembly can avoid the problem of the first node being unable to complete segmentation due to the absence of a segment sequence number.
