Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention is a data processing device that executes a process for executing a first task of using input data to estimate corresponding output data, said data processing device being provided with a model learning unit, a model execution unit, and a distribution calculation unit. The model learning unit uses data of a plurality of related tasks related to a first task to carry out learning with respect to a model that outputs a parameter pertaining to a distribution of a hidden variable representing a feature specific to each task. The model execution unit uses the model to acquire, from learning data for the first task, the parameter pertaining to the distribution of a first hidden variable of the first task. The distribution calculation unit calculates an average and a dispersion for the distribution of the first hidden variable on the basis of the parameter pertaining to the distribution of the first hidden variable.
