Abstract:
A data processing device and a related method. The data processing device may comprise a first chip (001) and a second chip (002) which are packaged in a stacked manner; the first chip (001) comprises a general-purpose processor (011), a bus (00), and at least one first dedicated processing unit (DPU) (021), wherein the general-purpose processor (011) and the at least one first DPU (021) are connected to the bus (00), and the general-purpose processor (011) is used for generating a data processing task; the second chip (002) comprises a second DPU (012), and at least one of one or more first DPUs (021) among the at least one first DPU (021) and the second DPU (012) is capable of processing at least a part of the data processing task on the basis of a computing function; the first chip (001) and the second chip (002) are connected to each other by means of an interconnect line between the chips. The data processing device can satisfy the increasingly high power consumption and operation requirements of users without increasing the volume of the product.
