Abstract:
In the present invention, an MxM data processing unit (56A) uses data from an input buffer unit (54) to perform MxM convolution processing. An NxN data processing unit (56B) uses data from the input buffer unit (54) to perform NxN convolution processing. A first output buffer unit (58A) stores the processing results of one of the MxM data processing unit (56A) and the NxN data processing unit (56B), and outputs the same to the input buffer unit (54). A second output buffer unit (58B) stores the processing results of the other of the MxM data processing unit (56A) and the NxN data processing unit (56B). The second output buffer unit (58B) transfers the processing results to an external memory (52).
