Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve data quality by reducing the influence of jitter or noise in a series of processes from oversampling to demodulation of a data bit string, and performing a correct data decoding process (word alignment process). An oversampling unit oversamples and outputs each data bit of a data bit string. A demodulation unit selects a part of each data bit of the data bit string after oversampling and demodulates the data bit string after oversampling. A synchronization code detection unit detects a synchronization code corresponding to a word alignment pattern of the data bit string after demodulation. A word alignment process unit removes a start bit and an end bit from the data bit string after demodulation, in a word alignment locked state according to the synchronization code. An error detection unit performs error detection for the word alignment process on the basis of 4-bit data obtained by combining the two bits of the start bit and end bit of the data bit string after demodulation, and corresponding two bits of error determination bits (see Fig. 2).
