Abstract:

The present application relates to the technical field of data storage, and discloses a data processing method and apparatus, which ensure the execution sequence of a plurality of commands. First, a first device acquires a plurality of first commands. Then, the first device encapsulates the first commands to obtain second commands, wherein the encapsulation comprises adding sequence identifiers to target commands which have sequence preservation requirements. Next, the first device sends a plurality of second commands in parallel. A second device receives the plurality of second commands in parallel, decapsulates the second commands, and then schedules the plurality of first commands according to the sequence identifiers. The first device sends the plurality of second commands in parallel to the second device. The second device may ensure the execution sequence of the plurality of first commands by means of the sequence identifiers, and may also reasonably use its own idle time to promptly process the plurality of first commands, which reduces the execution waiting time of the plurality of first commands, and improves the performance of a storage system.
