Abstract:
The present application provides a data recovery method and device. In the method, the device obtains a request for requesting to access a first data page; if the first data page is a dirty data page, a first log sequence of the first data page is obtained from a memory (storing a redo log of the first data page and other dirty data pages), wherein the first log sequence comprises one or more redo logs of the first data page, and one redo log records a modification operation to be executed on the first data page; and the first log sequence is remade to recover the first data page, and a service is provided by using the recovered first data page. According to the present application, the data page can be recovered as required, for example, the first data page requested to be accessed is recovered, the first log sequence can be remade when the first data page is recovered, without redoing the redo logs of other dirty data pages. The recovery time consumption is reduced on the premise that the hardware cost is not increased, and meanwhile the influence on the service is also reduced.
