Abstract:

Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a data search method and apparatus, and an integrated circuit. The data search apparatus comprises a logical search circuit and a memory, wherein the logical search circuit is connected to the memory by means of a data bus. The data bus can be connected to all memory resources, each data bus resource can access all the memory resources, a logical search resource provided by the logical search circuit can be divided into multiple parts according to requirements, and each logical resource can access node data in the memory by means of a bus resource. Therefore, regardless of whether a single-transmission mode, a dual-transmission mode or multi-transmission mode is implemented, there is no need to add an extra bus resource of a memory access resource bit width and an extra logical resource, and it can be ensured that the total bit width of a data bus and the logical resource remain unchanged. In addition, a forwarding device being located at different positions in a network can be satisfied, and the requirements of different service scenarios for search performance and table entry specifications can be met.
