Abstract:
The present application relates to a data sending method and a terminal device. The data sending method is applied to a terminal device, and comprises: a terminal device sending placeholder data in a protection gap of a time slot, wherein an idle duration of the protection gap is less than or equal to a target interception duration. In the embodiments of the present application, placeholder data is sent in a protection gap of a time slot, so that a protection gap duration can be reduced, the probability of preempting transmission resources by other terminal devices is decreased, and the preemption of transmission resources by other terminal devices can even be completely avoided.
