A data storage management method and apparatus, and a data storage system, the method comprising: receiving a message to be stored and standardising the metadata of the message to be stored (210); storing the message to be stored in a distributed file system, acquiring storage information, and storing the storage information and the standardised meta data in a database (220); and, on the basis of the storage information and the standardised metadata stored in the database, managing the messages stored in the distributed file system (230).
