Abstract:
A data transmission cable that can be laid without damaging the surface of a wall, ceiling, floor or the like and without using a fixing tool or the like, not impairing the external appearance of the wired place, or a cable, having a plurality of core wires, that can be laid with less crosstalk. A data transmission cable (1) comprises a core wire (2) having a medium for data transmission, and a cover member (4) covering at least part of the core wire (2) and having viscosity. Thus, since the cover member (4) has viscosity, the cable can be easily stuck to a wall (6) or the like. Further, since it becomes possible to lay the cable on the surface of the wall (6) or the like without using any fixing tool, screws, nails or the like, it is only the cable that is exposed to the surface of the wall (6) or the like, thus improving the external appearance.
