Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a data transmission method and apparatus, a communication device, and a storage medium. One transmission connection is selected from a plurality of transmission connections so as to be used for transmitting a beacon frame carrying downlink connection indication information, the downlink connection indication information being used for indicating a transmission connection having cached downlink data in the plurality of transmission connections; and the beacon frame is sent by means of the selected transmission connection.
