Abstract:

Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications. Provided are a data transmission method, apparatus and system, capable of improving the transmission efficiency of a data packet. The data transmission method comprises: a terminal in an idle state receives first resource information sent by a base station, the first resource information allowing the terminal to send an uplink application layer data packet to the base station; and the terminal sends, on the first resource information, the uplink application layer data packet to the base station. The data transmission method is applied to a data transmission system.
