Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of communications. Provided are a data transmission method and apparatus. The method comprises: a base station receives a data packet that is sent by a relay communication device and that carries a user equipment identifier and a data packet identifier; determining whether a same data packet sent by a same user equipment is repeatedly received according to a user equipment identifier and a data packet identifier carried in a previously-received data packet and the user equipment identifier and the data packet identifier carried in the data packet; and if it is determined that the data packet is not the repeatedly received same data packet sent by the same user equipment, forwarding the data packet to a service application server. After repetition removal is performed on data packets that are sent by a same user equipment and that have a same data packet identifier, the data packets are sent to a service application server, so that the service application server delivers, to user equipments, the received data packets that are not repeated data packets, thereby greatly reducing overheads of transmission resources and avoiding waste of the transmission resources.
