Abstract:

A data transmission method and a communication apparatus. The method comprises: receiving a first identifier from a core network element, wherein the first identifier is used for indicating that a first quality-of-service (QoS) data stream and a second QoS data stream belong to a first data unit; and according to the first identifier and a first synchronization time parameter, respectively mapping the first QoS data stream and the second QoS data stream to a first access network resource and a second access network resource, and sending the first QoS data stream and the second QoS data stream to a terminal device, wherein the first synchronization time parameter is used for indicating the maximum interval between the moment at which the sending of the first QoS data stream is completed and the moment at which the sending of the second QoS data stream is completed. By means of the solution of the present application, the moment at which the sending of QoS data, which belongs to the same data unit, to a terminal device or an access network device is completed is less than a preset value, so as to facilitate decoding by means of the terminal device or an application server, and thereby further improving the user experience.
