A data transmission method, device, user equipment and communication system are disclosed. The method includes: when state transition happens, receiving the data of High Speed Shared Control Channel (HS-SCCH) and detecting the channel type of the HS-SCCH; when the detected channel type is not consistent with the current configured channel type of the HS-SCCH, resolving the HS-SCCH channel and receiving the data according to the detected channel type of the HS-SCCH. The method avoids communication failure due to a configuration inconsistency between Node B and user equipment (UE) which may occur in the UE state transition process before downlink synchronization is complete, and ensures normal data transmission between Node B and UE.
