Abstract:

Disclosed are a notification message and data transmission method and device. The notification message transmission method comprises: a switched fabric (SF) network chip of a switching network obtains the link information of the access switch (SA) chip of each switch access connected to the SF chip; the SF chip determines, according to the obtained link information of each SA chip, a link for transmitting to a source SA chip a notification message indicating that a target SA chip is reachable, the notification message being used to notify the source SA chip to transmit data to the target SA chip by means of the determined link. The present invention solves the problem in the prior art of data traffic congestion of switching network chips in a switching network system, thereby avoiding data congestion in the switching network and improving data forwarding success rate.
