Abstract:
A data transmission system in which a plurality of terminal devices connected to a communication network transmit or receive content data between the terminal devices, wherein at least one terminal device which receives the content data is provided with: a code amount change request unit (12) which, on the basis of an output signal output time interval corresponding to predetermined content data, transmits a code amount reduction request that is a request to reduce the code amount of the content data, designating the transmission source of the content data as a destination; and a code amount change unit (13) which in response to the code amount reduction request the transmission source of which is another terminal device, reduces the code amount of content data corresponding thereto.
