Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention is a DC cable in which the outer periphery of an electroconductive part is covered by an insulation layer, wherein the insulation layer contains a crosslinked base resin and an inorganic filler, the base resin contains polyethylene, the inorganic filler has a BET specific surface area of 5 m2/g or greater and a volume average grain diameter of 5 μm or less, the mass ratio of the inorganic filler in relation to the base resin is 0.001 to 0.05, and crosslinking in the crosslinked base resin is achieved by a crosslinking agent containing an organic peroxide.
