Abstract:
A DC-DC converter and a control method therefor. The converter comprises a logic module, power tubes (Mp0, Mn0), an inductor (L), an output capacitor (COUT), voltage-division resistors (R1, R2) and an error amplifier (EA). The converter further comprises: a first control unit, a second control unit and a third control unit, wherein the first control unit realizes switching of the converter between a constant-current startup mode and a closed-loop startup mode on the basis of an output voltage, and realizes a delay of the constant-current startup mode on the basis of an output of the second control unit; and the second control unit and the third control unit control the turned-on and turned-off states of the power tubes (Mp0, Mn0) of the converter in the closed-loop startup mode on the basis of the magnitude of an inductive current and the magnitude of the output voltage. The quick startup of a converter and the stability of an output voltage are achieved, the converter is prevented from repeatedly switching between two operating modes, and the normal startup of a circuit is ensured.
