Abstract:
The present invention provides a deacetylation modified BAF155 protein and a pharmaceutical use thereof. The present invention provides a deacetylation modified BAF155 protein or an active fragment thereof. Compared with a wild-type BAF155 protein, the deacetylation modified BAF155 protein comprises an amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1, and the lysine is deacetylated. The present invention further provides a use of the deacetylation modified BAF155 protein or the active fragment thereof in preparation of a drug for preventing or treating cardiac remodeling. The applicant finds that BAF155 interacts with a BRCT domain of PARP1, a deacetylated state of the BAF155 activates E3 ubiquitin ligase WWP2, then the K948 site of the PARP1 is subjected to ubiquitination degradation, and the BAF155 and SIRT2 act synergistically to prevent cardiac remodeling, thereby providing a new idea and research direction for treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
