Abstract:
A debugger (10) and a chip debugging method. The debugger (10) comprises at least one emulation peripheral interface (2). The emulation peripheral interface (2) is used for being connected to a microprocessor (1) of the debugger (10), and is used for being connected to at least one peripheral interface (8) of a tested chip (5). The emulation peripheral interface (2) is configured to have a function of testing a test item (101). In a process of testing a test item, test data corresponding to the test item is transmitted to the tested chip (5) through the emulation peripheral interface (2) (102). In the method, manual operations of testers are not needed, thereby improving the test efficiency; and tests related to peripheral devices can be implemented without purchase of the peripheral devices, thereby reducing test costs.
