Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present invention is a decoding method and a decoder for low-density parity check (LDPC) code, said method comprising: a decoder dividing an LDPC code C having a length n into k LDPC codes D, D={D1, D2,..., Dk-1, Dk}; the decoder arranging Di, i＝1, 2,..., k-1, k, in columns to obtain transposed code formula I of the LDPC codes D; performing, according to the values of the corresponding elements in a target check matrix, cyclic shifts to formula II, i=1, 2,..., k-1, k, in rows to obtain shift codes E, E={E1, E2,..., Et-1, Et}, t being equal to the number of the rows of the target check matrix; the decoder obtaining, according to the shift codes E and the length d of the decoder, t*m groups of LDPC sub-codes F1, F2,..., Ftm-1, Ftm, Ej being divided into m groups, and in formula III, m=[l/d]; the decoder decoding the m groups of LDPC sub-codes to acquire the decoding result of the LDPC code C. In this way, it is possible to flexibly control the decoding parallelism of the LDPC code, achieving a better balance of the decoding performance and resources.
