Abstract:
Provided is a decontamination device that is capable of confirming whether a mist circulation dispersion means is functioning accurately before and after a decontamination operation or during decontamination, and that is capable of ensuring function as a decontamination device. The decontamination device comprises a mist supply means, a mist circulation dispersion means, and an ultrasonic detection means. The mist supply means converts a decontaminating chemical solution for decontaminating the interior of a work room to a decontaminating mist, and supplies the decontaminating mist to the interior of the work room. The mist circulation dispersion means ultrasonically vibrates a vibrating board provided with a plurality of ultrasonic transmitters to generate an acoustic flow formed by ultrasonic waves in a vertical direction from the board surface, and causes pressing force resulting from the acoustic radiation pressure of the acoustic flow to act on the decontaminating mist to cause the decontaminating mist to circulate and disperse within the work room. The ultrasonic detection means is provided with an ultrasonic receiver for detecting the functioning of the ultrasonic transmitters, and detects the functioning of individual ultrasonic transmitters and/or all of the plurality of ultrasonic transmitters provided to the vibrating board.
