Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a decorative body in which a protective plate bonds well to a base material part using a background technology; a decorative body manufacturing apparatus for manufacturing the decorative body; and a decorative body manufacturing method. [Solution] A decorative body comprising a front surface portion, a rear surface portion, groove portions, and an upper surface portion, wherein the decorative body is characterized in that: the rear surface portion opposes the front surface portion, and the upper surface portion and the groove portions are at least partially in contact with each other; the upper surface portion is nearer the front surface portion-side than the groove portions; at least one of the groove portions and the upper surface portion can be observed through at least one of the front surface portion and the rear surface portion; the outermost part of the upper surface portion in the width direction of the groove portions is either at the same position or farther to the outside in the width direction than the outermost part of the groove portions on the front surface portion-side; and the upper surface portion is not exposed to the front surface portion.
