Abstract:
A decorative display element (10), wherein a light gathering element pattern (121) is formed by two-dimensionally arranging a plurality of light gathering elements (12a) on the front surface of a transparent material (11) while providing directions to rows of the light gathering elements (12a), and a linear pixel pattern (131) is formed by arranging a plurality of linear pixels (13a) parallel to each other on the back surface of the transparent material (11) at an arrangement pitch different from that of the light gathering element pattern (121). In the decorative display element (10), enlarged virtual image appearance regions (R1-R29) are provided in the back surface of the transparent material (11), linear pixel patterns (131-134) are formed in the enlarged virtual image appearance regions (R1-R29), and the linear pixels (13a) of the linear pixel patterns (131-134) have a line width (W) that allows enlarged virtual images (Z) approximately equal to or greater than the enlarged virtual image appearance regions (R1-R29) to appear above the transparent material (11).
