Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a decorative material capable of producing a pattern visible only from a specific viewing angle. A decorative material (1) according to an embodiment of the present invention is configured in a manner such that a dulling agent having a particle diameter less than 1.0 times the layer thickness is added to the comparatively less glossy layer among a first glossiness-adjusted layer (5) and a second glossiness-adjusted layer (6). As a result, it is possible to expose a dulling agent to the surface so as to float in a glossiness-adjusted layer. Consequently, it is possible to decrease the unevenness imparted to the surface while maintaining a sufficient dulling effect when viewed straight on; hence, the effect of scattering light incident from a diagonal direction is weakened, and it is possible to decrease the dulling effect when viewed diagonally. Therefore, it is possible to render invisible a pattern produced by a difference in glossiness, or in other words, a design, when viewed from a diagonal direction.
