Abstract:
Disclosed is an antenna array having a novel decoupling structure. A metasurface coating is disposed above the antenna array. The metasurface coating is supported by dielectric support columns and covers the antenna array. The metasurface coating comprises a dielectric substrate and unit structures disposed on the dielectric substrate. The unit structures are used for adjusting a dielectric constant. The effective dielectric constant of the metasurface coating is 15-45. The dielectric constant of the metasurface coating is adjusted by adjusting the size and spacing of the unit structures of the metasurface coating, and the coupling between antenna units is eliminated by adjusting the size and spacing of the unit structures of the metasurface coating, as well as the heights of the metasurface coating and an array antenna. The coupling between the units of the antenna array can be effectively reduced to 20 decibels or 25 decibels or below, thereby improving the radiation efficiency of the antenna units by 10% or above.
