Abstract:
Disclosed is a dedicated end cap mechanism for a double-chamber molten aluminum holding furnace, comprised of a laser detector (1), a reflector plate (2), a lever (3), a travel adjustment nut (4), a heat insulation piece (5), a supporting barrel (6), a rotary joint (7), a choke plug mounting shaft (8), a choke plug (9), a cylinder barrel (11) and a support (12). The supporting barrel (6) is connected to and is below the cylinder barrel (11). The lever (3) is arranged within the cylinder barrel (11). The travel adjustment nut (4) is mounted at a lower end of the lever (3). The lever (3) is connected to the rotary joint (7) through the heat insulation piece (5). The rotary joint (7) is in turn connected to the choke plug (9) through the choke plug mounting shaft (8). The lever (3) moves downwardly to drive the choke plug (9) to separate or communicate two chambers in a casting machine. In high temperature conditions, the choke plug (9) is resistant to corrosion and is accurate and reliable in terms of motion, the labor productivity thereof is greatly improved, and the costs are reduced.
