Provided is a defibrillation system that includes a defibrillation catheter and a power supply unit, wherein a first connector (11) connected to an intracardiac electrode is connected to handle of the catheter and a second connector (21) is connected to the power supply unit; the first connector (11) has a first insulating member (12), a first electrode (13) that protrudes from the first insulating member (12), and a first tubular portion (14) that contains the first insulating member (12) and the first electrode (13); the second connector (21) has a second insulating member (22) that has a vertical hole, a second electrode (23) that is formed on an inner surface of the vertical hole, and a second tubular portion (24) that contains the second insulating member (22); and the first tubular portion (11) has, outside the first insulating member (12) and inside the first tubular portion (14), a first space (15) that accommodates the second tubular portion (24), a second space (16) that contains the first electrode (13) without containing the first insulating member (12), and a third space (17) that contains neither the first insulating member (12) nor the first electrode (13).
