Abstract:
The invention relates to a deformable shell (31) comprising a plurality of cells (314) arranged in a repeating pattern structure in at least one direction of the shell (31), each cell extending at least partially through the thickness of the shell (31). According to the invention, the cells are asymmetrical with respect to any plane orthogonal to the shell (31). The invention also relates to a device for holding a human or animal body, the device comprising at least one such shell (31) applied against the human or animal body.
