Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dehydrogenation catalyst for the production of propylene by means of a dehydrogenation reaction of propane. The dehydrogenation catalyst contains, as active ingredients, elemental platinum, elemental copper, and one or both of an M3 element and elemental calcium; the M3 element is composed of one or more elements that are selected from the group consisting of elemental gallium, elemental cobalt, elemental germanium, elemental tin and elemental iron; and the elemental platinum and the M3 element have formed an alloy.
