Abstract:
The present invention obtains a demand prediction device and a demand prediction method that prevent a decrease in prediction accuracy and are capable of reducing calculation cost and calculation time which are required for learning a prediction model. A demand prediction device 21 comprises: a demand prediction model storage unit 24 that stores demand prediction values learned by a demand prediction model 23 on the basis of the past actual demand values of customers; a prediction date data input unit 26 to which demand requirements including the actual demand value on a demand prediction date are input; and a demand prediction calculation unit 2 that calculates a demand prediction value of a customer on the demand prediction date, on the basis of the energy demand requirement on the demand prediction date input to the prediction date data input unit 26, using the demand prediction values stored in the demand prediction model storage unit 24. The demand prediction calculation unit 25 calculates a demand prediction value at a prediction time after a certain time from the time when the actual demand value is obtained using the actual demand value input to the prediction date data input unit 26, calculates a demand prediction value after a prediction time after the certain time, and calculates a demand prediction value after the certain time using the demand prediction value calculated before the certain time immediately before the prediction time of the demand prediction value.
