Abstract:
This density measurement device 100 comprises: an electrical unit 20 having a light source 22 and photodetector 24, a fluid unit 10 having a measurement cell 1, a first light transmission member 11 for transmitting light from the light source to the measurement cell, a second light transmission member 12 for transmitting light from the measurement cell to the photodetector, a lens 3A that is provided in the fluid unit and is disposed such that light from the first light transmission member is incident on a first position and light is emitted onto the second light transmission member from a second position, a pressure sensor 5 for measuring the pressure of a fluid flowing through the measurement cell, and a calculation circuit 28 for detecting the density of the fluid flowing through the measurement cell. To reduce measurement error resulting from the refractive index of the fluid, the density of the fluid is calculated on the basis of the output of the photodetector and a correction factor associated with the pressure output by the pressure sensor and the density of the fluid.
