Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a self-etching dental composition exhibiting excellent adhesiveness not only to dentin not etched with phosphoric acid but also to phosphoric acid-etched dentin. The present invention pertains to a dental composition containing: a monomer (A) having an acidic group; a monomer (B) having no acidic group; a photopolymerization initiator (C); and water, wherein the photopolymerization initiator (C) is of an intramolecular cleavage-type, and contains a photopolymerization initiator (C-1) having an absorbance at 420 nm of at least 0.007 when dissolved in water at a concentration of 0.01 wt%, and/or a photopolymerization initiator (C-2) represented by general formula (2).
