Abstract:
The present invention provides a dental floss holder which enables a user to easily change the kind of floss thread and the tension thereof, while exhibiting good workability for the user. This dental floss holder is provided with: a rod-like handle part to be held by a user; a head part to which dental floss is locked; and a constricted part which connects the front end of the handle part and the head part to each other, while being formed so that the constricted part is smaller than connection parts of the handle part and the head part in the width direction and/or in the thickness direction of the connection parts, which are adjacent to the constricted part. The front end surface of the head part is provided with a recess that extends in the thickness direction of the head part; and an incision is made in the recess in the longitudinal direction so that the incision extends to the constricted part.
