Abstract:
Provided are a dental image analysis method and a device using same for orthodontic diagnosis, according to an embodiment of the present invention. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining a dental image of an examinee; and detecting at least a part of a plurality of landmarks for orthodontic diagnosis by using a landmark detection module from the dental image, wherein the landmark is an anatomical reference point that indicates the relative position of at least one of facial skeleton, teeth, and facial contours required for orthodontic diagnosis, and the landmark detection module may comprise a machine learning module on the basis of an artificial neural network.
