Abstract:
A dental instrument (100), a casing-like orthodontic appliance (102), and a fabrication method for the casing-like orthodontic appliance (102). The dental instrument (100) comprises an orthodontic fixture (101) and the casing-like orthodontic appliance (102), and the casing-like orthodontic appliance (102) comprises sub-casings (103, 104) and a connection part used for connecting the sub-casings (103, 104) at two adjacent sides of teeth (900) on which the orthodontic fixture (101) is mounted. The connecting part comprises a connecting body (105), and the connecting part only has a connecting function, is not in contact with the orthodontic fixture (101), and will not exert force on the teeth (900) at a corresponding position, so that said part of the teeth may be corrected only by an orthodontic bracket (101a) and an arch wire (101b). There is a single orthodontic force, which reduces the design difficulty of an orthodontic plan, and improves the accuracy of orthodontic treatment, thereby ensuring that the orthodontic effect is consistent with the orthodontic plan. In addition, the casing-like orthodontic appliance (102) also has the characteristics of being easy to take off and wear, and easy to manufacture, and has a long service life.
