Abstract:
It is intended to provide an instrument (300) for eliminating broken pieces of a
root canal-treating instrument remaining in the root canal of a tooth having deformed
in a curved shape. More specifically, the instrument (300) for eliminating broken
pieces comprises a handle (312) for holding, an elastic guide plate (314) projecting
from the distal end of the handle (312) and a wire (316) for fastening the broken
pieces at the distal end of the guide plate (314), wherein the wire (316) has its
proximal end located inside the handle (312), extends to the distal end of the
guide plate (314) along the guide plate (314) and forms a loop (318) at the distal
end of the guide plate (314); and the handle (314) has an operating part (320) for
shrinking the loop (318) formed at the distal end of the guide plate (314) via the
wire (316).
