Abstract:
A deodorizing device having excellent deodorizing ability and filter regeneration ability and optimally reduced in size. A deodorizing device provided with single filter elements, light sources for emitting ultraviolet light, and a support body. The single filter elements each include a porous base material and also each include a photocatalyst and zeolite which are supported by the base material. The single filter elements and the light sources are integrated by the support body to form a module structure. The single filter elements are arranged in such a manner that the longitudinal axis of the single filter elements is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the light sources and that the single filter elements are substantially parallel to each other with an angle (?) of elevation. The angle (?) of elevation is greater than 0° and less than 45°.
