DERIVATION METHOD FOR EQUIVALENT CIRCUIT MODEL OF POWER SUPPLY SMOOTHING LC FILTER

Abstract:
With conventional derivation methods for equivalent circuit models of power supply smoothing LC filters, it has been difficult to accurately express characteristics of a power supply smoothing LC filter when operating a power supply circuit. With this equivalent circuit model of a smoothing capacitor (Cout), a capacitance (C1) of a main capacitance element (C1) is multiplied by a rate of change in capacitance k(V) corresponding to a DC output voltage V of a DC/DC converter (1) as indicated in formula (11), and the capacitance (C1) of the main capacitance element (C1) is corrected. In addition, in an equivalent circuit model of a choke coil (L), with regard to a plurality of levels of a DC current I, an impedance ZL of the choke coil (L) is obtained in accordance with formula (3), and an impedance ZL with regard to an arbitrary level is obtained by performing interpolation complementation using formula (8) on the basis of the impedances ZL for the obtained plurality of levels. Accordingly, the equivalent circuit model of the power supply smoothing LC filter is precisely derived in accordance with the DC output voltage V and the DC output current I of the DC/DC converter (1).
