Abstract:
A desiccant composition is obtained by mixing an anhydrous magnesium chloride and a hydrogen sulfide absorbent. The desiccant composition is obtained by mixing magnesium chloride, a carboxymethyl cellulose sodium salt and/or polyacrylamide. A desiccant is obtained by packaging the desiccant composition in a packaging material having at least one surface thereof comprising an air-permeable, water-impermeable film. The desiccant is stored by using a method that includes: stacking and housing, inside a moisture-impermeable resin storage bag, the desiccant comprising packaged therein the desiccant composition containing magnesium chloride; covering a resin film for covering, over the housed desiccant; and then closing the opening of the storage bag.
