Abstract:
A detection apparatus, an optical drive, and a detection method, relating to the technical field of optical storage, and capable of accurately determining whether the recording layer of an optical disc is at the focal point of an objective lens. The detection apparatus comprises an optical lens, a beam splitter, a mirror, a detector, and a servo controller. The beam splitter receives an incident pulse light beam and splits the incident pulse light beam into a first light beam and a second light beam. The mirror receives the first light beam and, on the basis of the first light beam, reflects a third light beam. The objective lens receives the second light beam, focuses the second light beam onto an optical disc, and transmits a fourth light beam reflected by the optical disc on the basis of the second light beam. The beam splitter transmits the third light beam and reflects the fourth light beam transmitted by the objective lens. The detector acquires the interference beam of the third light beam transmitted by the beam splitter and the fourth light beam reflected by the beam splitter, determines an interference signal of the interference beam, and sends the interference signal to the servo controller. On the basis of the interference signal, the servo controller determines whether an i-th recording layer is at the focal point of the objective lens.
