Abstract:
A detection device (3) is installed in a moving body (2) that moves on a road surface (6). The detection device is provided with a detection unit (32), an imaging unit (31), and a control unit (35). The detection unit detects shocks to the moving body. The imaging unit images the road surface in the rear of the moving body in the movement direction. The control unit controls the operation of the imaging unit. The control unit causes the imaging unit to image the road surface that the moving body has passed when a shock to the moving body has been detected, on the basis of the detection results from the detection unit.
